Can I be sick and fit?

About two years ago, I was diagnosed with an auto-immune arthritis disease. We've finally found a combination of medicines that seem to work so my pain is manageable and, for the most part, bearable. However, it is still a huge part of my life and it has given me a rather negative outlook about my body. I'm hoping that getting in better shape will help improve both my health and my self-image.

--> I'm twenty two.
--> currently 5'10 and approx. 150lbs
--> 35.5 - 27 - 37
--> gluten free diet since April 2012!
--> working out every day when possible!
--> cardio and weight lifting. I'm restricted to mainly low impact exercises, doctor's orders :(

PS: Since this isn't my main blog, I can't follow you back from here. But no worries, I follow everyone back from my main account. <3

I seem to have gained another pound or two but I don’t think it’s muscle this time.. My inner thighs are looking more flabby than normal :/ I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, I haven’t been doing the floor/mat exercises that I had been to tone them. I need to get back into doing that everyday.

On the plus side, I’ve gone on 1 hour + bike rides for the past two days! It was great!  I think I need to try and go riding every day if possible. Not today or tomorrow though, since I’ve got to go to work and I won’t have time to take a shower between riding and going there.

I just gotta stick with it and I’ll get that body one day!!!

Oh, the good news is, is that all those squats I’m doing is making my butt look amazingggg. My boyfriend agrees!

In the past week, I was able to add five pounds to the weighs I use. So proud! I’m finally getting muscle in my arms and it isn’t taking that much effort at all!

Still not really seeing any fat loss… I guess I need to switch to a stricter diet that focuses mainly on lean meats and vegetables. I need to cut down on the fruits too probably, I eat more of them than I do vegetables… They’re just easier to take with me when we go out. I guess I’ll get something figured out.

Still mostly happy with myself. Some progress is better than no progress!

On a side note, I bought a bike the other week when we were at Target. It’s just a little purple and white Schwinn but I like it! However, it (and hills) kick my butt. A twenty minute ride wears my legs out more than an hour in the gym does. That’s a good thing though! I’m going to try and ride for at least half an hour every day. I need to get out of the house more for one thing but it will also definitely help up my endurance! I’mma have some sexy legs soon! :D
